I remember the first time I saw the gorgeous multi-colored roses in the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon. I’d gone there with my daughter for the day. I’d never seen anything so gorgeous. I was mesmerized by their beauty and delicacy.
I love firsts. They make me so happy. First kisses, first tastes of something new, first lines in a book, first views of mountains and streams. There can be lots of firsts when you begin a new adventure and this first today made me cry. Thankfully I had my son who is actually in Houston with Meredith who is running a marathon, to consult on how to put something into a google doc and send. True.
I think when you really want something and you begin to see forward movement, there’s no way (for me) to remain calm and collected. Each space forward brings with it another piece of confidence, an added spark of joy and the feeling magic really does exist.
A FIRST: I was asked to send an invoice to a company where I’d done a book review for them. I had to google “freelance invoice templates” to even know what they looked like. It was as exciting as hell and I’m still flying high this afternoon. Later, I will have my daughter design a logo for me.
Things are happening. Manifestation and visualization work.
